Always more.

I think it is so great that there is always more in life.

More to learn, see, do, taste, experience, grow, and explore.  If we really knew it all, that would take out the wonder of life on earth.  I do not think we were put here to be comfortable or just happy.  But instead to always be challenged and push for more.  Experience joys to fuel us through some of life’s sorrows to the next joy.  I think in life we will experience some of the greatest mountain tops, and toughest valleys either at the same time or back to back.  That is ok.  Something I have learned and try to always remember is, it will rain again.  The storm will pass, the sun will come out again, BUT it will rain again.

Learning to take in the good and the bad life distributes is part of our process.  I remember section from an old Max Lucado book On The Anvil, he mentions some scenarios like; if you never experience pain, how could you experience the Father’s comfort and if you never felt sorrow how could you really know joy.  It was probably worded much better than that, but the idea has always stuck with me.  I think our creator knows what He is doing, so when tough seasons come in life, there is a reason or take away for us, and that will allow something positive to happen.  Maybe its to grow us, prepare us, stretch us, test us, who knows.  But I do not want to get stuck sitting in the storm because I am not prepared to move forward.  I do not believe there are any automatic promotions with God.  If there is something we must learn or grow from, if we do not get it, I do not think he just pushes us along to the next grade.  I think a lot of people may sit in the same places of life because they cannot get past a roadblock.  Life is a process for us to go “through” some stuff to become who we are to be.  We are not born perfected or complete, I think we become that person through the process on Earth.

That is why I think there is always more.  Until we meet the Lord face to face in heaven, there is more for us here and now.  More to learn, experience, and to do.
