Taking time to write is an opportunity to pause and allow thoughts to be captured and grow. So many things run through our brains all day long, they are there for a moment and then are gone. Sometime they reappear and most often next return in the same way. Capturing the thoughts and developing them into words on paper or into a keyboard allows them to delvep and most possibly grow into something further.
Our pace of life, do not allow for this enough.
As a young person I believed that … Dear diary, …was a prompt for girls to write sappy or personal things in a private notebook collection. But that practice has alot more value and benefits to anyone taking the time to capture and put them down. Journalling, I think, was the trendy term to replace writing in a diary that came to use many years back. That seamed to make it ok for anyone to write.
The easy things…are often the overlooked.
